An abrupt southerly wind change, often producing strong and squally winds and sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and a sharp drop in temperature. These strike Sydney mainly during the summer months.

Gone to the blogs Rush, Newspeak and Fascism by Orcinus is excellent. The ultraright in Oz has a different history but Howard's taste for dog-whistle politics makes what's happening in the US mediasphere something we should watch with care.
